This is collaborative work with the Herlitze Lab from the Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum. A first paper got recently accepted in Current Biology which characterizes two different melopsin subtypes. The first version of our modeling work has recently been published on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biorxiv.org\/content\/early\/2016\/03\/11\/043273\">bioRxiv (preprint).<\/a> The manuscript is work in progress, I&#8217;m very interested in discussing our approach and the manuscript.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benedikt V.
